Honestly, whether doing so with a partner or with a fun and discreet sex toy, having sex on the beach is extremely complicated.
But it is with these compilations, the slight difficulty both on a physical level and also when viewed with the eye of the law, that might just make having sex on the beach one of the kinkiest, dirtiest, yet romantic of passions worthy to pursue.
Because sometimes, easy isn’t always the most fun.
So if sex on the beach is something that has ever crossed your mind, something that has created an itch of desire within your sexual self; then stick around for all you need to know about having sex on the beach!
Is Sea-side Sex Legal?
Although we are not lawyers and this is absolutely no form of legal advice, we do have some general information regarding the question if having sex on the beach is legal. So remember, always consult with the proper legal guidance, and always follow local and state laws to preserve your best interest.
In general, having sex on a public beach is illegal and will result in some form of criminal charges if caught. If the beach is a nude beach, then there’s a good chance actual intercourse is still illegal.
That being said, if having sex on a public beach, you probably at least want to try and do it on a nude beach, as those around you will be less prone to find a surprise in your actions. That, and nudity is accepted, so you won’t stand out for being naked in the first place.
Nude beaches are also less commonly patrolled by the law, so that will also lessen your chance of being caught by beach patrol.
But remember, someone underage could still manage to pass by or someone might take insult to what you are doing and alert the authorities regardless of where you are, so just know you are taking an illegal chance by having sex on the beach.
If on a private beach, then you might have a little more luck. The key here, however, is that your private beach has to be entirely out of view from the public. So if you happen to get permission to hang out on an empty plot of private sand entirely away from the public eye, then you might be good to go!
Is Having Sex on the Beach Sandy?
Absolutely. It is pretty much a guarantee that sand will get in some ‘interesting’ places while having sex on the beach. Even if you do your absolute best to prevent sand by using towels or clothing or whatever you can think of, it is reasonable to say that avoiding sand while having sex is impossible.
Just keep a bottle of water nearby to at least ensure that your genitals are entirely free from sand, as this can be uncomfortable and cause unwanted tears on your skin and vaginal canals, and always shake off your towels well before getting into it.
If you really want to avoid sand in all the bad places, an easy to set up beach tent might just be the only option.
Is Beach Sex Safe?
Part of the risk involved with having sex on the beach is part of the unsanitary nature behind it.
If you were planning on having sex in the ocean water, then you might want to rethink things. The ocean water contains millions of species of bacteria that can easily enter your vaginal canal when having sex in the sea.
Some forms of these bacterias can cause harmful infections. Whether a small UTI or a more serious infection, the consequences of having sex in the water might literally bite you in the butt.
The high levels of salt in the water, and the water in general, will also reduce your body’s ability to naturally lubricate. This won’t make the sex any better and again can increase the chance of vaginal tearing.
Because of this, it is probably your best bet to have beach sex on the dry sand instead.
But, not to be totally negative about the situation, the sand can contain just the same amounts of possibly harmful bacteria as the water. From trash to fecal matter (and yes, unfortunately from both animals and humans), the sand just isn’t the safest of places to get intimate either.
Have you ever been to the beach and been left with an annoying itch all over your body?
There’s a good chance that this was caused by either see lice or noseeums (sand fleas). And when you openly expose your bottom half, you provide them with an invitation to eat up areas that should be left for only the tongue of your partner. That, and bees and yellowjackets often patrol the areas where the sand meets the dunes, so keep in mind that small insects can be a BIG problem.
To best avoid sand, just throw a big old blanket down and remain cognizant of the possible animal interaction around you.
And then, of course, you have to broaden your imagination and think through every possibility in terms of ‘safety’. The truth is that you never know who might stumble upon yourself and your partner getting busy in the act.
Although most would probably want to turn their head and continue walking, there are some folks out there that might present to you a possible danger. If someone sees yourself and most likely a vulnerable partner having sex on the beach, this can instigate several possible situations that are better off for the imagination.
Basically, you just don’t want to run into the wrong guy or gal, so try and make yourself as discreet and secretive as possible.
Sex Toys on the Beach.
Sometimes using a nice sex toy on the beach is a lot more accessible, reasonable, and less risky than the real deal. A sex toy can allow you or your partner to pleasure yourself on the beach in a manner that doesn’t give away too much and that doesn’t require you to strip off all your clothing.
After all, you could even tuck a remote control vibe under your bathing suit so that your pleasures go unseen to the public eye around you.
Sex toys just give you a nice way to easily disguise yourself as someone casually tanning, whereas sex and the required closeness between two people becomes a lot more visible.
If having sex on the beach is new to you, then think to possibly start with a sex toy first to get a feel for how to navigate this delicate task without being seen, and to see if it is something that you are willing to take the risks for to secure the blissful reward of a sea-side orgasm.
Other Tips for Having Beach Sex:
- Take a Walk- Always take the time to walk as far away as possible from other people. Beaches span the entire coast, so you can probably find a nice and tucked away spot with a little effort.
- Stay Under Blankets- To reduce the chance of others realizing what you are doing and the chance of an indecent exposure charge, keep yourselves completely covered under a blanket while doing the deed.
- Remain Quiet- Nothing gives away the fact that you are having sex more than a loud moan.
- Have Sex on a Private or Nude Beach- To reduce the chance of being caught by the law.
- If You are Caught during beach sex, Then Move On!- Seriously, don’t take any risks by hanging around. If someone doesn’t like what they see and makes that clear, get out of there before anything gets worse.
- Protect your Skin- Because sunburn there won’t make the next time you make love any better
- Use Lube– Sometimes it is hard to become turned on right in the beginning. This is completely natural, and all you have to do is use a little lube to make up for it until your body relaxes and can naturally lubricate.
- Have fun- Sex is meant to be enjoyable. If things aren’t feeling right and taking away from the pure pleasures, then think to try it again another day!
